Pilot Precautions

The operation of a UAS requires the pilot to ensure both the integrity of the system and the safety of people and infrastructure nearby. Piloting a UAS is a responsibility that demands the pilot be in full physical and mental faculties. To ensure safe and effective operations, follow these recommendations:

    • Alcohol or narcotics
    • Fatigue or tiredness
  • Protect yourself from the sun:

    • Wear sunglasses in strong sunlight scenarios.
    • Use long clothing that covers the extremities to prevent sunburn.
    • Apply sunscreen before starting the operation.

Operational Safety

  • Maintain a safe distance:

    • Keep at least 5 meters away from the drone during takeoffs and landings.
  • Respect operational limits:

    • Do not exceed legal altitude limits in your area of operation.
